Professional photographers based in Canterbury, Kent
Editorial, documentary and reportage photography
Jerome and Isobel Dutton are innovative freelance photographers who understand the different values and creativity required for personal commissions, business, government and the media. Previous photographic commissions cover reportage, documentary and editorial work for the national press as well as shoots for sustainable development, environment and ecology, advertising, reports, food, events, portraits and families. For interior and exterior location work in Kent we have a lifetimes knowledge of its industrial, urban and rural areas. Call us for details and availability.
Architecture & Interiors
As architectural photographers we have been comissioned by a range of clients from town planners, architects, government and non governmental organisations and private clients - producing a varied array of work. In contrast our interiors photography has been to make places look beautiful so as you want to go there: hotel bedrooms, top restaurants and retro wine bars. What a pleasure.
Documentary, Reportage and Editorial
Social, political and environmental photographs permeate our work. They are at the core of what motivates us as creative people. Most of what we make as photographers can be loosely collected under these headings. We continue to work closely with editors, art directors and journalists to achieve the images that hold a page, not just support the article.
Event
If it's an intimate family event or your the organizer of an epic festival, we capture it in the way we do best - as documentary photographers. With nothing posed or staged we wait in the wings or steal into the fray and grab you some moments.
Food
We have photographed this food in natural light, where it was prepared, with only the supervision of the excellent chefs that made it.
Industrial
Industrial photographic commissions have sent us to some challenging locations, documenting the scale of human industrial activity, its practices, culture, changes and transformations.
Landscape
Closely connected to the industrial collection but more about the shifting landscapes of the world we occupy and the transitions between human and natural occupation.
Portrait
Formal and informal portraite photography. Thank you to all who have let us take their picture.
